An Enchanting Hero

It is incredible to know that you can actually approach the presence of this most powerful Being. He is the Master of the wind, the land, and the seas, and He is the Master of all living creatures. God’s power can command man and beast and all the elements of the universe to do His will. This kind of power can raise dead people and make their hearts beat again and can create new people. It can make the earth split apart and quake, and it can hold the vast earth in orbit in space. It is power that can even reach down and teach a tiny colony of ants (who have a microchip for a brain) to organize and prepare for upcoming winter weather.

With just a moment to contemplate this enchanting Hero, you can be moved to worship, and when you are moved to worship God, you will no longer worship your stronghold, and you find the power to walk free. As time goes on, you realize that He knows the exact number of hairs on your head. You are drawn in to love Him, for you finally realize there is no person, place, or thing that can love you the way He can. His demands are highly rewarded.

This journey gives you a chance to find Him, and the Bible says that the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever

(1 Chron. 28:9b). So, if you will seek Him with all of your heart, you will find Him. It makes me lose my breath to think that I am touching the edges of the garment of finding Him. It makes me lose my breath to think about losing His favor or being rejected by Him. I want to know the meaning of seeking, and I want to know the meaning of forsaking.
